Jyoti Chhatri, a pivotal player in the Indian junior women’s hockey team, shares her invaluable experience from the recently concluded 5 Nations Tournament in Valencia 2023. Having played a crucial role in several tournaments, including the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2023 and the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2023, she expressed how this tournament enhanced her understanding of perseverance and mental fortitude required to excel at the highest levels.
The 19-year-old forward, who notched a goal in the thrilling Junior World Cup match against New Zealand, considers her involvement in the 5 Nations Tournament as an opportunity to measure up against elite teams like Ireland, Germany, Spain, and Belgium.
