Indian Air Force Helicopter Makes Precautionary Landing Near Bhopal Dam
During a routine training mission, an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter conducted a precautionary landing near a dam in the Bhopal district of Madhya Pradesh. The landing took place near the Dungariya Dam, approximately 50 kilometers from Bhopal Airport, and was prompted by a technical fault detected during the flight.

Safe Precautionary Landing
The helicopter, belonging to the IAF’s III HU unit, made a safe precautionary landing in response to the technical issue. Onboard were the pilot and five crew members, all of whom emerged from the incident unharmed. The prompt action taken by the pilot ensured the safety of both the crew and the aircraft.
Technical Fault Addressed
Following the precautionary landing, technicians from Bhopal and Nagpur were dispatched to the site to address the technical fault. After the necessary repairs were completed, the helicopter resumed its journey to its intended destination in Jhansi.
