The third meeting of the India-Maldives High-Level Core Group took place in Male on Sunday, where significant discussions regarding bilateral cooperation unfolded, as reported by the Ministry of External Affairs.

The meeting encompassed a review of the ongoing deputation of Indian technical personnel aimed at sustaining the operation of Indian aviation platforms providing humanitarian and medvac services to the Maldivian people.

Focus on Bilateral Cooperation and Future Engagement

Discussions during the meeting emphasized efforts to enhance bilateral trade and investment, strengthen people-to-people linkages, and expedite the implementation of development cooperation projects. It was mutually agreed to convene the next meeting of the High-Level Core Group in New Delhi on a date convenient for both parties.
