Ioannou encouraged Indian investments in Greece, pointing to cities like Athens and Thessaloniki as potential hubs for Indian businesses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Greece in August marked a historic moment, as he became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Greece in the last 40 years. The visit emphasized the modern and warm relationship based on shared values of democracy, peace, and development. Both countries exhibit a commitment to justice, equality, and common approaches to international issues such as UN reforms and the situation in Cyprus.
