Mr. Malik accused a person named Ayush Koul, who also goes by the alias “Vicky” and resides at Rose Lane No. 6, Rajbagh, Srinagar, of impersonating an IAS officer and swindling him out of INR 6.5 lakh. This deceitful act was perpetrated under the pretense of securing government employment for Mr. Malik’s son. The local police have issued a warning to the public, advising them to exercise caution and vigilance when approached by individuals making promises of this nature. They emphasize the importance of verifying the credentials of those offering such services in order to prevent falling victim to fraudulent schemes. Additionally, the authorities have requested anyone possessing relevant information related to this case to step forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
