In a proactive measure to fortify the security landscape in the region, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Vidhi Kumar Birdi orchestrated a comprehensive security review meeting at the District Police Office in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. VK Birdi urged Zonal SsP to maintain a close watch on anti-national and anti-social elements, advocating stringent action against troublemakers and rumour mongers. He emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and proactive measures on the ground to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in Srinagar City. IGP Kashmir instructed officers to enhance surveillance, emphasizing strict vigilance over terrorist associates and taking necessary legal measures against them.
