Honor Unveils the 90 GT in China: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 100W Fast Charging, and More

Honor has introduced the 90 GT in China, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a robust 5,000mAh battery, supporting rapid 100W fast charging. This smartphone offers a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and extensive storage options, up to 24GB of RAM, and a maximum of 1TB onboard storage.

Presently, the Honor 90 GT is available for pre-order in China, with plans for it to hit the market later this month. It comes in three different color variants and offers four variations in RAM and storage configurations.

The device runs on the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 and flaunts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate. Driving its performance is a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with an Adreno 740 GPU, delivering seamless operations even with demanding tasks.

On the camera front, the Honor 90 GT boasts a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel IMX800 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, complemented by an LED flash unit. For selfies, it houses a 16-megapixel front camera.

Fueling the device is a substantial 5,000mAh battery, supporting 100W fast charging. Security is managed by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C. The phone weighs 187g and measures 162.5mm x 75.3mm x 7.9mm in dimensions, offering a blend of power and compactness in its design.
