Habitual Bovine Smuggler Detained Under PSA in Doda
Doda, November 16: In a major step to curb anti-national and criminal activities in Doda district, the police have detained a habitual offender, Adil Fareed, under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Adil, a resident of Runta village in Bhaderwah, has been lodged in jail following a detention order issued by the District Magistrate, Doda.
The accused was involved in multiple cases of bovine smuggling, with several complaints registered against him at Bhaderwah Police Station. Despite repeated warnings, Adil failed to mend his ways and continued engaging in activities that posed a threat to communal harmony in the region.

According to the police, his anti-national and anti-social activities were deemed a serious threat to internal security, public peace, and tranquility in the district. Acting on the dossier provided by SSP Doda, authorities took swift action to neutralize the risk posed by his criminal conduct.
The Bhaderwah police carried out the detention as part of their ongoing efforts to ensure communal harmony and maintain law and order in the region. This decisive action highlights the administration’s commitment to countering activities that threaten the peace and security of Doda district.
