Impressive Uptrend for GOCL Corp Shares
GOCL Corp’s share price has been on a remarkable uptrend since July 2023. After reaching a low of around ₹305 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at the end of June 2023, this mining and infrastructure stock achieved a new all-time high during Friday’s trading. Notably, the GOCL Corp share price opened positively and surged to an intraday high of ₹619 per share on the NSE, marking a significant increase of over 100% in less than four months.
Game-Changing Order from Coal India
A pivotal moment for GOCL Corp came as it secured a substantial order from the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Coal India Limited. This order, valued at ₹766 crore, entails the supply of bulk explosives to Coal India for the next two years. The company, in its communication to the stock market, stated, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LO&DR) Regulations, 2015 and other applicable provisions, we hereby inform that IDL Explosives Limited (IDLEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has bagged an order from Coal India Limited, a Maharatna Company of the Government of India for the supply of Bulk Explosives, to be supplied over a period of 2 years, i.e., from October 2023 to October 2025.”
Impressive Share Price Performance
In the past month, GOCL Corp’s share price has surged from around ₹425 to ₹619 per share, translating to a remarkable 45% increase during this period. Over the last six months, the mining and infrastructure stock has seen its price rise from approximately ₹330 to ₹619 per share, delivering an impressive return of over 80% to its shareholders. Year-to-date (YTD), the stock has rewarded investors with a remarkable return of over 60%. Over the course of a year, GOCL Corp’s share price has witnessed a remarkable ascent, rising from around ₹266 per share to ₹619 per share, marking an extraordinary 130% increase during this time.
