Furniture Factory, Five Residential Houses Gutted in Baramulla Fire
A massive fire that broke out in the Kanlibagh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district destroyed a furniture factory and five residential houses while property worth crores of rupees was reduced to ashes on Sunday late evening.
The fire originated at Farooq Ahmad Najar’s furniture factory, located in a residential locality in Kanlibagh on Baba Reshi road. Within moments, it rapidly spread to nearby residential houses, causing extensive damage to both the factory and the houses.
“Fire was brought under control by fire tenders along with the help of local police, and army. No loss of life or injuries were reported during this unfortunate incident,” officials said. (KS)
