
Free Multi-Specialty Medical Camp Held At Bhaderwah
Bhaderwah, Feb 15, 2025 – A multi-specialty medical camp was organized today at Government High School Bheja, Bhaderwah, catering to the healthcare needs of the local community. The camp was jointly conducted by a Social Welfare Organization-NGO, in collaboration with the Ayush Department, Health Department, and CRPF 33 Bn.
The camp provided free medical check-ups to hundreds of patients, with a team of specialists including an Army Physician, Orthopedic, ENT, Ayush, and Dental doctors. Over 300 patients availed the healthcare services, while around 140 patients were examined and provided with free Ayush medicines by the Ayush team.
The initiative was supervised by Dr. Ajay Kumar Tickoo, District Ayush Officer Doda, under the guidance of Director Ayush J&K, Dr. Nuzat Bashir Shah. The event also witnessed the presence of the Commanding Officer (CO) of CRPF 33 Bn and Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bhaderwah, who lauded the efforts made to ensure accessible healthcare for the people of the region.
Doda CEO Reviews School Readiness for Reopening After Winter Break
During the event, Dr. Mohd Ashraf commended the collaborative approach taken by different organizations in conducting the medical camp. He emphasized its significance in addressing healthcare challenges in remote areas and promoting the well-being of the community.
JK HC Criticizes Casual Drug Probes, Rejects Government Appeal
The camp saw active participation from medical professionals, including Dr. Manjit Singh (MO AHWC Drudhu), Dr. Jabina (MO AHWC Bheja), pharmacists Sanjay Kumar and Tariq Ahmed, and MTS staff member Farooq Ahmed.
This healthcare initiative was supported by the Directorate of AYUSH J&K, District Administration Doda, Dipr Doda, and the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. The success of the camp highlights the commitment of various organizations toward improving healthcare accessibility and ensuring quality medical assistance for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
