
Five dies in Srinagar due to Suffocation
SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident, a husband, wife, and their three children died of suffocation on Sunday evening, officials said.
The incident occurred in the Pandrathan area of Srinagar, where five members of a family lost their lives due to suffocation.
A senior police official said that the family, originally from Baramulla, was living in rented accommodation in Pandrathan. The tragedy occurred late at night when they reportedly fell unconscious due to suffocation.
The victims were shifted to a hospital, but doctors declared them brought dead on arrival.
The official added that the identification of the deceased is yet to be confirmed, and an investigation into the incident is underway. (KNO)
