Fire Ravages 13 Shops in Ganderbal
At least 13 shops have been damaged in a terrible incident of fire in Behama, the main market of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official of the Fire and Emergency Department said that a fire broke out from a biryani hut in Ganderbal’s main market Behama during the night, and the flames engulfed a nearby shopping complex and a building. He said that at least 13 shops were damaged in this incident of fire.
He said that as soon as the information was received, 6 fire tenders were dispatched to the spot and the fire was brought under control. The said official said that the cause of the fire is being ascertained, but there is no report of any loss of life in the incident.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard.
