Bhopal: A significant incident transpired on Saturday morning when an express train, en route from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi to Miraj Junction in Maharashtra, experienced a derailment. The mishap unfolded between the Ratlam-Dahod rail section in Madhya Pradesh. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in the aftermath of the derailment, reassuring travelers and authorities alike.
Train Number 12494 – Darshan Express
The ill-fated train, identified as train number 12494, was the Darshan Express, which typically plies the route between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Miraj Junction. According to Khemraj Meena, the Public Relations Officer of the Western Railway’s Ratlam division, both the engine and power coach of the Darshan Express derailed, leading to a halt in its journey. Fortunately, due to swift response measures, no injuries were reported among passengers or crew members.
