Dumper Driver Electrocuted in Kulgam , Dies
A dumper driver was electrocuted in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday morning. Local sources said that the accident took place at DH Pura, Kosarbal area of Kulgam on Friday morning when the driver was unloading material from the dumper.
He said that as soon as the driver lifted the hydraulics, the vehicle came in contact with the overhead high-tension power line, resulting in the driver’s death on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Shaukat Ahmed Pay, a resident of Tahab, Pulwama.
Meanwhile, the police have taken notice of the incident and registered a case.
