DRDO creates ramjet fuel for advanced air-breathing engine
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on Thursday announced that one of its labs has achieved success in developing liquid Ramjet fuel for an advanced air-breathing engine.
This fuel has been tested successfully at Ramjet Test bed at Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) on May 8. BPCL and Mineral Oil Corporation are Industry Partner in this development.”DMSRDE Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE) has made a landmark achievement by developing liquid Ramjet fuel for an advanced air-breathing engine.
This fuel has been tested successfully at Ramjet Test bed at DRDL on 08 May 2024. M/s BPCL and M/s Mineral Oil Corporation Pvt Ltd are Industry Partner in this development,” DRDO posted on X.
