TLR News, a local media portal, in collaboration with Govt Degree College (GDC) Doda, organized a one-day workshop on the Fundamentals of Journalism at GDC Doda. The event attracted a diverse audience, including students, visitors, and faculty members. The esteemed guest of the occasion was Prof. Mansa Ram, while Dr. Jamshed Ahmed was the Guest of Honor.

The workshop featured discussions led by notable speakers, including Vikram Singh Thakur, Head of Jk Darshan Portal; Fareed Ahmed Naik, Executive Editor of The Chenab Times; and Naeem Ul Haq Wani.

Attendees gained valuable insights, with Sulinder Parihar, Managing Director of TLR News, sharing knowledge on mobile journalism, creating effective thumbnails, and essential editing techniques. A question-and-answer session was also held, focusing on journalism fundamentals.

Naeem Ul Haq Wani, Correspondent at The Chenab Times, offered insights into reporting techniques, while Fareed Ahmed Naik provided a detailed perspective on anchoring. Vikram Thakur emphasized the importance of factual storytelling and the role it plays in journalism.

Dr. Jamshed Ahmed, the Guest of Honor, underscored the significant role of media in public life. At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates were distributed to the participants.
