A tragic incident unfolded in the southern region of Anantnag district in Kashmir, resulting in the loss of an Ayurvedic doctor’s life and severe injuries to seven other individuals, as per official reports.

The unfortunate event occurred when a Tata Sumo with the registration number JK03B 1989, was en route from Deesu to Vailoo. Tragically, the vehicle lost control, skidded off the road, and plummeted from a bridge, leading to this devastating accident. Regrettably, one person lost their life, while seven others sustained injuries, as reported by the authorities.
The deceased individual was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Shapoo, hailing from Zalangam Kokernag, and he served as an Ayurvedic doctor. Following the mishap, the injured individuals were swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility, where the condition of two of them is described as critical.
