District Administration Addresses Public Concerns During Block Divas Outreach Program

In an effort to understand and address the public’s issues, demands, and grievances, the district administration organized a public outreach program in various parts of the district. During these events, local residents had the opportunity to voice their genuine concerns, which were then brought to the attention of the relevant government departments for prompt resolution.
The Block Divas celebrations took place at different locations, including Kahaila Park Panchayat in Berraru Sub District Bhaderwah, Panchayat Taintly in Tehsil & Sub Division Gandoh, and Panchayat and Government Middle School Marsoo in Panchayat Kuthyra Sub Division Assar, among others.

The block divas program at Kahaila Park Panchayat in Berraru Sub District Bhaderwah was chaired by (ADC) Bhaderwah Dil Mir Choudhary, and was attended by officers and PRIs members . The program also held at government middle school Marsoo panchayat kuthyra sub division Assar chaired by SDM Lekh Raj who listens to the public and directed to concerned officers and officials to dispose of the public issues and grievances at earliest.
The program held at Panchayat Taintly in Tehsil & Sub Division Gandoh was chaired SDM Ashraf Wani and large numbers gathering was seen at a program held at community hall Bhella Sub division Thathri Throughout the day, various issues and demands were discussed. Some of the most prominent concerns raised during the outreach program included issues related to water supply, electricity supply, installation of electric poles, upgrading of transformers, school infrastructure, road connectivity, healthcare centers, and more.
Not only the general public but also members of PRIs, sarpanchs, panches, and BDC representatives participated in these discussions. The gathered concerns were directed to the respective officers and officials for speedy resolution.The Block Divas events held at different locations witnessed large gatherings of local residents who had the chance to present their genuine demands directly to district officers.
This initiative aimed to ensure that government services and benefits reach the people without unnecessary delays, making the governance process more efficient and responsive to the needs of the community.
