While presiding over an interaction and inspecting the facilities, DGP Swain witnessed an impressive anti-terror operation demonstration. He expressed satisfaction in the trainees’ acquired skills, praising their spirit and the instructors’ efforts in imparting training effectively.

DGP Swain underscored the importance of being tough on criminals to ensure a secure environment for trade, investment, and overall development. He emphasized the identification and removal of elements disrupting peace, stating that strong measures are essential for the greater good of the public.
During his address, DGP Swain prioritized the welfare of the police force, especially the Special Police Officers (SPOs) working alongside the regular force. He announced a 15 percent reservation provision for SPOs in the upcoming constable recruitment, emphasizing further welfare measures.
In recognition of exceptional performance, the DGP presented cash rewards to four outstanding trainees. Principal CTC, Tanveer Jeelani, provided insights into the specialized training course, showcasing the commitment to skill development.
The event was attended by DIG South Kashmir, Commandant IR 23rd Bn Bakar Hussain Samoon, AIG (Training/Comn.) PHQ Manoj Kumar Pandith, SSP Awantipora Aijaz Ahmad Zargar, and other distinguished officers from the training center. DGP Swain’s visit not only celebrated the achievements of the trainees but also reinforced the commitment of law enforcement to public service and skill enhancement.
