Department of Zoology Govt. PG College Bhaderwah signed MoU with Department of Fisheries Doda,Jammu and Kashmir

Department of Zoology Govt.PG College Bhaderwah under the patronage of Principal Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal and headed by Dr.Ajaz A.Wani signed MOU with Department of Fisheries Doda Govt.of Jammu and Kashmir headed by Mr. Kulbushan Verma assistant Director Fisheries Doda .

The faculty members Dr.Neelam Saba,Dr.Isha Slathia,Dr.Kulbushan Kumar also accompanied them at that time. As per the new Education Policy 2020 which focus on the skill education of the students. Sensitization of these young brains towards problem sharing, problem solving and scope related to modern fish farming particularly in chenab region will definitely yield fruitful results.

Both departments that are said parties agreed that mutual cooperation can be sought on the parameters of seeking mutual advice and support in planning and executing programs promoting excellence in modernization of fish farming and its popularisation and making it more farmers friendly.

The parties also agreed to encourage visits of students of GDC Bhaderwah to the department for exposure to the evolutionary trends in fisheries and also to encourage regular visits of experts of either department to ensure sensitization of new brains of society regarding the bright future and significance of modern techniques and allied sectors along with different schemes of Govt.of India. Dr.Whied K.Balwan ,Associate professor department of zoology GDC Doda was also present on the occassion.
