Residential house gutted in Marmat Fire incident, DDC Marmat & Dr Pardeep visited the spot
After the heartwrenching fire incident in Marmat Tehsil of Doda, DDC Marmat Mushtaq Butt alongwith Dr Pardeep Kumar Bhagat (MLA-Election Contested candidate), today the visited the spot, and met with the fire affected family. Previous night, a terrible fire incident took place in Rachoo area of Marmat, engulfed the three-story residential house within no frame of time. After the fire broke up, two fire tenders were sent to the spot, but due to long route, the vehicles came very late, and till that, the residential house was completely damaged.
DDC Marmat in a media statement called for the public help, and also vowed to bring up the matter of assigning a house under PMAY scheme on priority basis. Dr Pardeep Kumar Bhagat, who contested the MLA Elections from Doda, also interacted with affected family members, and also assured off the full suport for the victim. As per details, around Rs. 50, 000 amount was said to be given to family members. However, DDC Marmat and Dr Pardeep Kumar Bhagat have assured of every possible help for the fire affected victims.

As this fire incident has completely damaged the house, the residents have also called for fund raising. NGO Ababeel has provided the relief material and assential commodities, whereas, IFSA Charitable Trust Marmat, a local Trust of Marmat, also called for public donations through the registered account number.
As the fire incidents are now increasing day by day, the demand of fire tender for Marmat is gaining more attention. Few months, a house in Prabble area got gutted in fire, even though the fire tender reached, but it’s was too late. The residents, protested against the unavailability of fire tender in Marmat. The residents made an appeal to Honourable MLA Doda West, Shakti Raj Parihar, DDC Marmat, District and LG Administration to kindly fulfill this demand of fire service in Marmat, so that, atleast the intensity of the loss may be reduced due to fire incidents
