Delhi Police Special Cell Nabs Trio in Party Drugs Supply Chain
64 grams of high-quality cocaine and 20 ecstasy pills seized; accused identified as David Narh, Emmanual Owusu Nsiah, and Chimobi David Okpara.
Swift Action by Special Cell
Delhi Police Special Cell arrested three individuals involved in the supply of party drugs. Acting on information about the movement of two suspects linked to drug supply, the Trans Yamuna Range of Special Cell swiftly initiated action, leading to the interception of David Narh and Emmanual Owusu Nsiah in Mayur Vihar phase-3.
Seizure Details and Follow-up Investigation
The search of the suspects resulted in the recovery of 56.69 grams of cocaine and 20 ecstasy pills. Subsequent investigations led to the apprehension of Chimobi David Okpara, identified as the source of the recovered contraband. A further 7.12 grams of cocaine were seized from Okpara’s flat in a Greater Noida Society.
Profile of Accused Persons
David Narh, originally from Accra, Ghana, arrived in India in December 2023 due to economic hardships. He met Chimobi David Okpara in Africa, who involved him in drug delivery activities in Delhi and nearby areas.
Emmanual Owusu Nsiah, born in Accra, Ghana, worked as a plumber in Accra and later moved to Nigeria for better earnings. He arrived in India in mid-January 2024 and was tasked by Okpara to deliver narcotics.
Chimobi David Okpara, a 27-year-old Nigerian, has been in India since 2018. Initially working in Mumbai, he shifted to Delhi, supplying narcotics in the Delhi/NCR region.
Ongoing Investigations
Efforts are underway to identify the complete chain of the syndicate involved in the supply of cocaine and ecstasy pills in parties. The Special Cell is actively pursuing the investigation to uncover the forward and backward links of the drug supply network.
