
Crackdown On Illegal Mining in Jammu, 08 VEHICLES DETAINED BY JKP IN RURAL ZONE OF DISTRICT JAMMU.
Jammu, 05.03.2025. In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In a surprise operation which was carried out in last few days at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu.
PP Pallanwala detained 04 Tractor trollies which include; tractor having Chasis bearing registeration no. WBTF29428107257, IB45210ECMA003101, 03.Tractor No.JK02DL 5765, Tractor, without registration number having Chasis no. KZGDK137713753 all found loaded with mining material (Sand) without form A.
ADGP Armed Visits IRP 24th Battalion Udhampur
PP Sidhra detained 03 vehicles:
1.Dumper bearing registration no JK02CV/4638 found loaded with sand without Form
2.Tractor Trolley bearing chasis no. MBNGGAALDBPRG0583.
3.Tractor bearing registration no JK02DJ/8561 both loaded with Bajri and all without forms A.
PS Jhajjar kotli detained dumper bearing registration no JK02CV/4638 loaded with sand without form A.
After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.
While giving the details SP Rural Jammu, conveyed that Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area.
