CIK Raids in Kashmir Bust Terrorist Recruitment Module: Officials
Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) carried out raids on Tuesday across multiple districts in the Kashmir Valley, targeting a terrorist recruitment module, according to officials.
The raids were conducted in the early morning hours in several locations, including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Bandipora, Kulgam, Pulwama, and Anantnag districts. These actions were part of an ongoing effort to dismantle recruitment networks operating in the region.
During the raids, authorities uncovered a recruitment module linked to a newly established terrorist organization, ‘Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim,’ which is an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The module was reportedly being run by Baba Hamas, a Pakistani terrorist handler, further intensifying efforts to counter cross-border terrorist activities.
