Two separate incidents involving the recovery of drones near the International Border in Punjab’s Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts were reported by a Border Security Force (BSF) official.

Acting on specific intelligence, the Border Security Force conducted a search operation near Daoke village in Amritsar on Sunday, October 29. During this operation, a Chinese drone was discovered in a field by the BSF troops.

In a joint operation with the Punjab Police, another drone was found by the BSF in Dholan village in Tarn Taran on Saturday evening. This recovered drone was identified as a Chinese quadcopter.

These incidents mark yet another attempt by smugglers to use drones for the illicit transportation of narcotics. Fortunately, the BSF thwarted their efforts, ensuring border security.
