UGC NET June 2026 Exam Dates to Be Announced Soon; Here’s What Candidates Should Know The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the UGC NET 2026 exam dates for the June session in the coming months. The national-level examination determines eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in universities and colleges across India. The December 2025 UGC NET session concluded earlier this month, with examinations held between December 31, 2025, and January 7, 2026. Attention has now shifted to the next cycle, with the official notification for the June 2026 session likely to be released around the third week of April 2026 on the NTA’s official website. Once the notification is issued, candidates will be able to access the subject-wise exam schedule, application details, and other key instructions. Aspirants are advised to regularly check the NTA portal for updates and use the intervening period for focused revision, mock tests, and concept strengthening. UGC NET June 2026 Admit Card The admit card for the UGC NET June 2026 session is expected to be released in the third week of June 2026. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website to check details such as exam city, centre address, reporting time, shift allocation, and exam-day guidelines. Once activated, the direct link to download the UGC NET June 2026 admit card PDF will be made available on the NTA website. UGC NET June 2026 Exam Dates and Timings While the final schedule is yet to be confirmed, the June 2026 UGC NET examination is expected to be conducted between June 25 and June 29, 2026. The test will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres nationwide. The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day: Shift 1 (Morning): 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Shift 2 (Afternoon): 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Candidates are advised to stay alert for subject-wise scheduling details, which will be announced closer to the exam date.
