In a proactive move, the Border Security Force (BSF) successfully shot down a China-made quadcopter drone near the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. The interception and subsequent downing of the drone occurred near Rossey village in Gurdaspur district during the night hours on Friday. The BSF troops swiftly responded, firing at the drone with quick reflexes, causing it to lose control and fall in a farming field.

Adversary’s Plans Thwarted: Exemplary Shooting Skills by BSF Troops

The BSF, mandated to guard the 3,323 km India-Pakistan border, highlighted the keen observation and quick response exhibited by its troops. The recovery of the partially broken China-made Quadcopter (Model – DJI Mavic 3 Classic) in Rossey village thwarted potential malicious plans aimed at creating disturbance in the border area through drone intrusions. The BSF’s exemplary shooting skills played a crucial role in neutralizing the threat.
