    Tensions Escalate at Indo-Pak International Border

    The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially protested unprovoked cross-border firing by Pakistan Rangers that left two BSF personnel injured. The BSF engaged in a commandant-level flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers at a border outpost (BoP) along the International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector to address the issue. Alongside the firing incident, BSF officials also raised concerns about the smuggling of narcotics from across the border and presented pictorial evidence of smugglers killed by the force.

    Unprovoked Firing Incident

    Two BSF personnel sustained injuries due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan Rangers on border guards at the Vikram BoP in Arnia sector, raising tensions along the Indo-Pak International Border.

    Raising Smuggling Concerns

    During the meeting, BSF officials expressed their concerns about the ongoing smuggling of narcotics across the border and presented evidence of smugglers killed by the BSF. The concerns were communicated to Pakistan Rangers, who denied their involvement in the incidents.
