BJP-led NDA confident for 12+ Assam seats in second phase: Sonowal
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expresses confidence in the BJP-led NDA’s ability to secure over 12 seats in Assam and more than 23 seats in the Northeast during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Sonowal attributes the transformation of the transportation sector in the Barak region since 2014 to the double-engine government’s efforts. Underlining the BJP government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, Sonowal highlights the significant advancements made in road networks across villages and interiors.
He emphasizes the need for continued support for development projects and urges voters to cast their ballots for progress.
Sonowal also underscores the importance of the Barak River in facilitating economic growth and outlines various developmental projects aimed at enhancing connectivity in the region, including the designation of National Waterway 16 and the renovation of terminals.
