Local residents have expressed frustration, emphasizing that Bhaderwah is plagued by unscheduled power cuts, particularly during the night hours, severely hindering students’ ability to study. Despite lodging complaints with authorities, including the PDD Department, the residents claim that no effective resolutions have been implemented.

Pushpinder Goswami, a resident of Mohalla Yogi, highlighted the discrepancy between promises made by the PDD and the ground reality, stating, “Despite assurances, our area continues to face frequent power disruptions, negatively impacting the academic performance of students.

“Goswami further expressed disappointment in the lack of response to repeated appeals made to both the administration and the Executive Engineer of the PDD. Urging swift action, he appealed to the administration to urgently investigate and resolve the persistent power supply issues affecting the residents of Bhaderwah and surrounding areas.
