Baramulla doctor buy-land on moon,Makes History as First in valley
A resident of Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir has recently made history by becoming the first individual from the Valley and the second overall in the region to acquire lunar property. Dr. Kousar Bakshi, a Kashmir-based doctor and CEO of ARML Labs in Handwara, received official confirmation from the Lunar Registry regarding the success of his bid.
According to the registered claim, a copy of which is available with GNS, Dr. Kousar Bakshi is now officially recognized as the rightful owner of a piece of land situated at Mare Tranquillitatis (Sea of Tranquillity), with coordinates 8.35 degrees North Latitude and 30.85 degrees East Longitude, Tract 34, Parcel 21024.
In an interview with GNS, Dr. Bakshi shared his joy and excitement about this remarkable achievement. He revealed that he submitted his bid on July 6, 2023, and received a communication confirming the success of his bid on September 12, 2023.
Expressing his happiness, Dr. Bakshi, who manages a highly esteemed testing laboratory in north Kashmir, stated, “I am delighted to be the first person from the Valley to accomplish this feat.” This accomplishment adds a unique and pioneering dimension to Dr. Bakshi’s profile in addition to his noteworthy contributions in the field of healthcare and laboratory testing.
