Providing additional insights, Dr. Owais Ahmad, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bandipora, highlighted the implementation of 121 Water Supply Schemes (WSSs) under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) program in the district. These initiatives are being executed with a mission-oriented approach. The infrastructure includes 38 Rapid Sand Filtration Plants, 22 Overhead Tanks, 18 Borewells, and 149 pipe networks, Service Reservoirs, and related facilities. As of now, 81.22% of the targeted 47,358 households, totaling 38,495, have been successfully connected.
