    At the Baloch National Jalsa, Professor Manzoor Baloch condemned the Pakistani establishment for seven decades of mistreatment and atrocities against the Baloch people. He highlighted the challenges faced by the Baloch, emphasizing the fear of the Pakistani establishment in dealing with and silencing the Baloch. The professor recounted historical events, including the martyrdom of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, and the subsequent retaliatory actions by the Baloch, which instilled fear in the establishment.

    Inhumane Atrocities in Balochistan and Suppression by the State

    Manzoor Baloch spoke passionately about the inhumane atrocities committed by the state in Balochistan, mentioning the conversion of Khuzdar, Panjgur, and Mashkai into battlegrounds. He discussed the establishment’s support for death squads, leading to massacres in these areas. The professor commended the resilience of the Baloch, noting Khuzdar’s positive transformation despite past adversities.

    Balochistan’s Struggle for Basic Rights and Unity Amidst Genocide

    The intellectual stressed that the struggle was not only for missing persons but a fight for basic rights. He characterized the large gathering at the Jalsa as a referendum for the Baloch, expressing determination for revenge. Manzoor Baloch urged unity among the Baloch, emphasizing the importance of documenting the stories of those incarcerated.

    Political Activism, Challenges, and Balochistan’s Independent History

    Discussing the political activism, Professor Manzoor Baloch outlined the challenges faced by Baloch activists, detailing brutal tortures such as body drilling, eye removal, and electric shocks. He highlighted the history of Balochistan’s independence since 1947 and criticized Pakistan’s occupation. The professor called for transparency in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) deal and warned about the potential threat to Baloch identity with Gwadar’s development.

    In a passionate address to young Baloch individuals in Quetta, Manzoor Baloch emphasized the importance of awareness about their rights amidst the ongoing struggle.
