Authorities Issue Avalanche Warning Across JK
On Saturday, the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority issued a medium-danger level warning for avalanches in various districts of the region.
The advisory states, “Avalanches with a Medium Danger Level are anticipated above 2200 meters in Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Resai, Anantnag, and Kulgam districts within the next 24 hours.” Additionally, it warns of avalanches with a higher danger level above 2200 meters in Kupwara, Ganderbal, Bandipora, and Baramulla districts during the same timeframe.
Accident in Rajouri District, Seven injured
Residents in these areas are strongly advised to exercise caution, refraining from entering avalanche-prone zones until further notice, as mentioned in the advisory.
