Australia buckles Pakistan by 29 runs in rain-spolied 7-overs-a-side game
Australia beat Pakistan by 29 runs in a rain-spolied T20 match played at The Gabba, Brisbane. After the rain washed the game, only seven-overs contest took place. Pakistan put Australia into bat after winning the toss.
With the blistering knock of Maxwell 43(19) and Stoinis 21(7), Australia posted a total of 93/4 in 20 overs. Abaas Afridi was the pick off bowler for Pakistan with the figures of 2-9 off 1 over.

Chasing a total of 94 runs, Pakistan’s team opening and middle order collapsed and lost their half of team in late twenties, and could manage to score 64/9 in 7 overs.
Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis were brilliant for Australia in the bowling, returned with figures of 2-13-3 & 2-9-2. Adam Zampa, picked two wickets. Maxwell was awarded as the Player of the Match Award. Australia took a 1-0 lead in the 3 T20I match series.
Pakistan will take on Australia in second T20 International cricket match at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney on November 16. Pakistan will look to level the series, while Australia would look for series win over Pakistan.
