Army Jawan Dies in Accidental Firing in Kishtwar
A tragic incident occurred in the Chattroo area of Kishtwar, where a 24-year-old army jawan was fatally injured by accidental fire from his rifle while on duty.
The jawan has been identified as Satnam Singh, son of Balkar Singh, a resident of Sucheetgarh in the Jammu district. He was serving with the 11RR unit of the Indian Army in Chattroo area of kishtwar district.

Following the incident, senior officials immediately shifted the injured jawan to the hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. After completing the autopsy and other medico-legal formalities, the body will be handed over to the family for the last rites.
