Another Alert for Pakistan as Ex PM Imran Khan threatens Civil Disobedience Movement
Nowadays, Pakistan is reeling under hot waters due to massive inflation, and political instability. On one side, inflation ratio have gone massively up, and on the other hand, political roars put Pakistan into a unwanted situation. As the Pakistan largest opposition party in National Assembly, Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf, did a massive protest near D Chowk Islamabad, and in night hours, the military and security forces clear the Islamabad by firing on protestors, which eventually lead to call-off of the protest. As per Pakistan Tahreek E Insaf, 12 people suffered bullet injurues and hundreds got injured.

But, Imran Khan, who is the most popular leader in Pakistan, right now, has called for another protest, and threatens to start a civil disobedience movement in Pakistan.
Imran’s account on X, posted a message for PTI workers to gather at Khyber Pakhtun Khawa province, in Peshawar, where Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf led government rules.
Khan has given an ultimatum to the federal government for the completion of demands, which include judicial probe of May 9 last year cases, and enquiry on crackdown on Nov 25 protest march. Khan threatened to imitate a civil disobedience movement in Pakistan after December 14, if demands are not met and the government will be held responsible for the consequences.
Around 180 cases have been registered so far, against imran Khan, which also include indictment in various cases, but overturned by court at higher levels. Imran and his party asserts, that at the behest of military, these cases are being made, to keep imran out of politics. In 2022, Khan was ousted from power, on which he labels the America and Bajwa responsbile for conspiracy.
