Akasa Air to Launch Gorakhpur-Delhi and Gorakhpur-Bengaluru Flights on May 29

Akasa Air has announced its intention to initiate flight services connecting Gorakhpur with Delhi and Bengaluru starting May 29. The airline has received approval from the Airport Authority of India (AAI) for the schedule, and online ticket booking has commenced, as per an official release on Tuesday. These flights are expected to considerably reduce travel time, with Gorakhpur to Delhi in just 1 hour and 15 minutes, and Gorakhpur to Bengaluru in 2 hours and 35 minutes.

The flight schedule indicates that the service from Gorakhpur to Delhi will depart at 2:45 PM and arrive in Delhi at 4:00 PM, while the return flight will depart from Delhi at 4:55 PM and land in Gorakhpur at 6:45 PM. Additionally, flights between Gorakhpur and Bengaluru will depart from Bengaluru at 11:15 AM and arrive in Gorakhpur at 2:05 PM, with return flights departing Gorakhpur at 7:20 PM and landing in Bengaluru at 9:55 PM.

This initiative by Akasa Air aims to provide passengers with more travel options and increased competition in fares, benefiting travelers with lower prices. It significantly reduces travel time, bringing Gorakhpur closer to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, making essential and leisure trips more accessible and convenient.
