Admit Cards Issued for Urdu Typing and Shorthand Tests by JKSSB

Admit Cards Issued for Urdu Typing and Shorthand Tests by JKSSB- Key Highlights:

  1. Admit cards for the Urdu Typing and Shorthand tests available from August 1, 2024.
  2. Test scheduled for August 7, 2024.
  3. Candidates must bring a printed admit card and valid ID proof to the test center.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued admit cards for the upcoming Urdu Typing Test, Urdu Shorthand Test, and Urdu Shorthand Instructor Test scheduled on August 7, 2024. Candidates can download their admit cards from the JKSSB’s official website, www.jkssb.nic.in, starting August 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  1. Admit Card Details: The admit card will provide the name and address of the examination center, along with the examination date and time.
  2. Downloading Admit Cards: Candidates must download their admit cards from the JKSSB website using their E-mail ID and Date of Birth. They should carefully read the instructions contained in the admit card.
  3. Entry Requirements: Candidates must present their admit card and a valid identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter Identity Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, or Identity Card issued by a Competent Authority) at the registration counter of the test venue. Without these documents, entry will not be permitted.
  4. Assistance: For any difficulty in downloading or issues related to the admit card, candidates can contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar), or email helpdesk.ikssb@gmail.com. The help desk will be active from August 1, 2024, until the completion of the Typing Tests/Urdu Shorthand Tests during office hours.
  5. Multiple Applications: Candidates who have applied for multiple posts must appear for the test with a single admit card only. Appearing in multiple shifts/tests will result in disqualification.
  6. Test Scheduling: Candidates applying for all three posts will have to appear for tests in multiple shifts.
  7. Clubbing Requests: Candidates issued multiple roll numbers/admit cards should submit a clubbing request after the culmination of the tests. A separate notice for this will be issued later.
  8. Board’s Rights: The Board reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate found ineligible at any stage.
  9. Latest Updates: Candidates should regularly check the JKSSB’s official website (www.jkssb.nic.in) for updates. Admit cards will not be sent by post.

Procedure to Download E-Admit Card:

  1. Visit the JKSSB official website: www.jkssb.nic.in.
  2. Click on the “Download E-Admit Card” option on the homepage.
  3. Click on the “LOGIN” link/button.
  4. Enter your E-mail ID and Date of Birth (in DDMMYYYY format).
  5. Verify your basic details; contact the helpdesk if there is any mismatch.
  6. The E-Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  7. Click on the “View and Print E-Admit Card” button.
  8. Download and print the E-Admit Card.

Note:

  • Candidates must bring a clear printed copy of the E-Admit Card on the day of the examination.
  • Candidates who miss the test on the scheduled date will not be allowed to reschedule and will be disqualified from further consideration.
  • No supplementary tests will be conducted for those who miss the scheduled tests.
