Accident in Keran area of Kupwara district, 1 dead , 7 injured
A man lost his life while seven others were injured in a road accident in Keran area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that one vehicle bearing registration no HR 26BY0374 turned turtle in Keran area and on boarded 08 passengers were injured.
He said that the police party rushed to the spot and injured were shifted to hospital from where few were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
He added that one injured person identified as Farid Ahmad who is said to be teacher by profession succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura while his father who has received critical injuries is under treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)
