Bihar Court Grants ‘No Coercive Action’ Order To Faisal Khan Alias ‘Khan Sir’ Until Next Hearing
Patna, 20 Jun 2026; [VoM News]: While hearing a anticipatory bail petition filed by renowned educator Faisal Khan popularly known as ‘Khan Sir,’ a Bihar Court issued a no coercive action order on Saturday, which means that the police will not take any stringent action against him till the next hearing regarding the coaching institute shooting case.
Earlier, Patna Police registered an FIR against Khan Sir and two others in connection with the June 2 firing and vandalism that occurred outside his coaching institute, a few days after a group of people vandalised the Khan Global Studies Institute and pelted stones on its premises earlier that week.

Following the incident, Case No. 410/26 was registered and an investigation was initiated.
During the course of the probe, a video was recovered that showed two individuals engaged in aerial firing immediately following the vandalism incident, stated the press release by the Office of the City Superintendent of Police (Central), Patna.
Coaching Centre Firing Case: Khan Sir Gets Interim Relief, Investigation Continues
As per release, two guards of the institute, whose visuals were in the video, have been apprehended today.
The police statement further informed: “After due verification of the video footage, both the guards have been identified and taken into police custody.
Based on the entire investigation pertaining to the chain of events in the said case and recovery of the weapons utilized, Khan Sir and two other persons were named in the F.I.R under the provisions of Sections 109 and Arms Act.
Additionally, the Patna Police has urged the students to not fall for any rivalries or differences between various coaching centers while issuing a appeal.
