    A 32-year-old member of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) tragically passed away due to a cardiac arrest in the Wachi region of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday, as confirmed by authorities.

    The deceased soldier, known as Jai Prakash and a part of the 246th battalion, experienced a sudden loss of consciousness while stationed at the Wachi CRPF camp. Prompt medical attention was provided, and he was swiftly transferred to a nearby hospital. Regrettably, the medical professionals at the hospital declared him deceased upon his arrival.

    Concurrently, local law enforcement authorities have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
