Bovine smuggling bid foiled in Nagrota; 22 bovines rescued, 02 vehicles seized
Jammu, 28.02.202: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Nagrota has foiled two bovine smuggling attempt in which 22 bovines were rescued from two vehicles (Trucks) bearing registration number No. JK02BT/8755, and JK03J/3738 at Naka toll plaza.
The driver of both the vehicles fled away from the spot .22 bovines were rescued and both the vehicles were seized.

In this regard,the FIR NO. 33/2025 U/S 223/BNS, 11 PCA ACT and FIR No. 34/2025 U/S 223/BNS 11/PCA ACT have been registered in police station Nagrota .Further investigation is underway.
