Ladakh Government introduces Amendments to Libraries Recruitment Rules
The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh has exercised powers granted under S.O. 282(E) dated January 21, 2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, to introduce amendments to the “Union Territory of Ladakh Libraries (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2021.”
The changes, notified through S.O. 133, aim to refine and update the recruitment processes under the existing framework. The amended rules, now titled “Union Territory of Ladakh Libraries (Subordinate) Service Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2024,” will come into effect immediately upon their publication in the Official Gazette.
Key among the changes is the substitution of Schedule-I in the previous rules with updated provisions. These amendments are expected to streamline recruitment processes and ensure alignment with the evolving needs of library services in the Union Territory.
Further details of the amendments will be available in the Official Gazette.
