    The first snowfall of the season is anticipated to grace the higher elevations of Kashmir Valley, including areas like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Doodhpatri, Sinthan Top, and Sadhana Pass, starting from September 27. This weather event is being attributed to a Western Disturbance, with current estimates indicating a 55% likelihood of snowfall in these regions.

    Meanwhile, light rainfall is also expected across the plains of Jammu and Kashmir from September 27 onwards, as part of this weather system.
