The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), operating under the Ministry of Education, has announced an extension of the deadline for submitting online applications for the Class VI Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025-26.
The new last date for submission is 23rd September 2024. This extension provides more time for students and their families to complete the necessary registration and apply for admission into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across the country.
JNVs are renowned for offering quality education in rural areas, and the selection process for admission is based on the JNVST. This test is designed to identify talented students from rural backgrounds and give them access to advanced educational opportunities. Admission to these schools is sought after, as JNVs provide free education, boarding, and lodging.
Eligible students interested in applying for admission to Class VI can do so without any application fee. The entire registration process is conducted online, simplifying the procedure for students and parents.
To apply, candidates can visit one of the two official websites: navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs.
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti encourages students and parents to make use of this extended deadline to ensure that their applications are completed in time.
For further information and detailed instructions on the application process, they are advised to regularly check the official websites.
