The police personnel not only ensured the safety and well-being of the ailing yatris but also carried their luggage, easing their burden and enabling them to complete their pilgrimage without further distress.
Aiding the Ailing Yatris
The yatris, who were on a pilgrimage, faced severe difficulties due to the high altitude and its associated health challenges. The Anantnag Police, upon noticing their distress, acted swiftly and compassionately. The police personnel carried the ailing yatris on their shoulders, demonstrating exceptional commitment to their safety and well-being. Emergency Medical Evacuation of Pony Walla
In a separate incident, Mukhtar Ahmad Magray, a pony walla from Ainu Brai Aishmuqam, fell unconscious at Sheshnag. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the Anantnag Police facilitated his immediate medical evacuation. Initially admitted to the Base Hospital Sheshnag, Mukhtar Ahmad was quickly referred to NTPHC Hospital Pahalgam for further treatment. The Anantnag Police promptly arranged for his airlift to Pahalgam, ensuring he received timely and necessary medical attention.
