During a significant gathering with Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Police and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) hailing from various districts within the Jammu Division, Anand Jain, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Jammu Zone, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the local crime landscape. His discussion with the senior police officials revolved around enhancing public relations within their respective districts.
Emphasizing the critical need to combat the rampant drug problem, he urged the officers to take resolute actions against the individuals involved in drug smuggling, ultimately ensuring that the key culprits behind these operations are apprehended and brought to justice.
To safeguard their regions from potential terrorist threats, the IGP instructed the officers to maintain a state of high alertness and implement a robust security framework.

This strategic approach aimed to neutralize any potential acts of terrorism within their areas of responsibility.Furthermore, the IGP underscored the importance of District SSPs engaging with the local population in remote and border areas. He encouraged them to seek valuable cooperation and assistance from the community in curbing infiltration and monitoring the movement of terrorists.
Another crucial aspect of his directive was the preservation of communal harmony and brotherhood within their districts. He insisted that the officers take the necessary steps to maintain these values and ensure they are upheld.In response to these directives, all the police officers expressed their commitment to achieving the specified objectives. They assured the IGP that they would work diligently to meet the set targets.
