The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced plans to organize a street power show in solidarity with the autonomy of the judiciary and the release of party founder Imran Khan. This decision follows a call from six judges of the Islamabad High Court urging the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) to address allegations of interference by the country’s intelligence agencies in judicial affairs.

Responding to inquiries, Marwat highlighted the pressure faced by judges in fulfilling their professional obligations, as outlined in the letter addressed to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, PTI leader Latif Khosa criticized the treatment of Nawaz Sharif, alleging preferential treatment for a convicted criminal, with all cases against him and his family reportedly closed.
Earlier incidents of obstruction, such as PTI vehicles being stopped outside the prison, prompting party members to walk one kilometer on foot, were condemned by Barrister Gohar. He reiterated the PTI’s commitment to peaceful advocacy and expressed concerns over impediments to their activities.
